NPFL Update: Mangut Confident in New Plateau United Signings

Mbwas Mangut, coach of Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) side Plateau United, has expressed confidence in the team's newly acquired players. Following a 1-1 draw against Shooting Stars on Matchday 2, Mangut acknowledged the importance of the new additions, noting their potential to enhance the squad’s performance. The Peace Boys, as Plateau United is fondly called, made significant changes during the off-season, bringing in 12 new players to strengthen the team.

Mangut emphasized that while the players have only had two matches to showcase their abilities, they possess the individual skills necessary to fill the gaps left by players who departed last season. He praised their quality and expressed optimism about their future contributions to the team. "Individually, they can match the players that left the club at the end of last season," Mangut said, confident in the new recruits' potential to elevate the team's performance.

He further assured fans that with a few more games, the team's true potential will become evident. "In three or four games, the best of this team will come," Mangut stated, pointing out that it takes time for new players to blend with the rest of the squad. The coach’s remarks reflect a positive outlook for Plateau United as they continue their campaign in the NPFL, with hopes of climbing the league standings.
