The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has officially announced the schedule for the upcoming CAF Women’s Champions League, set to take place in Morocco from November 9 to November 23, 2024. This fourth edition of Africa's premier women's club tournament will see matches hosted across two cities, El Jadida and Casablanca, promising an exciting lineup for fans and players alike.
The tournament will kick off with an exciting opener between DR Congo's TP Mazembe and South African debutantes, set for Saturday, November 9, at 15:00 local time (14:00 GMT) at the University of the Western Cape. Later that evening, Moroccan hosts ASFAR will face Senegal’s Aigles de la Medina at 18:00 local time (17:00 GMT) in El Jadida's M’Hamed El Abdi Stadium, setting the tone for what promises to be an intense tournament.
Group B action will begin the following day with title holders Mamelodi Sundowns of South Africa taking on Egypt's FC Masar. The group also includes Nigeria’s Edo Queens, who will face off against Ethiopia’s CBE in another anticipated clash. These matches highlight the diversity and competitiveness of the tournament, with clubs from across the continent competing for the prestigious title.
In total, 16 matches will be played across the two venues, culminating in the final set for November 23 in El Jadida.
