Nasarawa United have arrived in Jos, Plateau State, for a one-week closed camping in preparation for the second stanza of the 2024/25 Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) season. The team touched down on Saturday evening to kick-start their final phase of preparations.
During their stay, the Solid Miners will engage in a series of friendly matches against Plateau United, Mighty Jets International (both in Jos), Wikki Tourists FC, and Waranjei FC (both from Bauchi) in a sequential manner. These matches aim to sharpen the team's form ahead of their league resumption.
The Lafia-based side recently bolstered their squad with new signings, who will feature in these test games as part of efforts to integrate them into the team and evaluate their readiness for the upcoming fixtures.
Nasarawa United will resume their NPFL campaign on January 25, 2025, with a home fixture against Katsina United at the Lafia City Stadium.
