Abubakar Bukola Saraki (ABS) Ilorin Football Club forward, Jamiu Sa’ad, has declared the team's determination ahead of their Nigeria National League (NNL) clash against Madiba FC on Wednesday, January 29, 2025.
Speaking ahead of the encounter, Jamiu Sa’ad emphasized the team's readiness to secure a much-needed victory at the Mobolaji Johnson Arena, Onikan Lagos.
“The entire team is fully focused and ready to go. We know it’s going to be a tough game, but we’re determined to come out on top,” Sa’ad said.
The Ilorin-based team is eager to end their winless streak after failing to secure victories in their last two outings. However, they face a Madiba FC side equally hungry for a first win of the season.
“We are not happy with our last two results, so we want to make corrections and get back to winning ways. We’ve been talking to ourselves, and we are determined to get decent results tomorrow,” Sa’ad added.
Despite Madiba FC’s struggles this season, Sa’ad warned against underestimating their opponent. “We know Madiba FC is struggling, but we won’t underestimate them. We’ll give it our all and make sure we come out victorious,” he emphasized.
Jamiu Sa’ad has been a standout performer for ABS Ilorin FC this season, contributing two goals and two assists in five league matches.
Kickoff for the highly anticipated fixture is scheduled for 12 noon at the Mobolaji Johnson Arena.
