The 2025/26 Nigeria Women’s Football League (NWFL) Premiership season will officially begin on November 26, 2025, promising another thrilling chapter in the country’s women’s football story.
Despite expanding to 20 teams, the league will retain its abridged format, divided into two groups of ten clubs each.
Reigning champions Bayelsa Queens have been seeded in Group A, while Nasarawa Amazons headline Group B, setting the stage for fierce competition across both zones.
Group A features Bayelsa Queens, Rivers Angels, Edo Queens, Adamawa Queens, Pacesetter Queens, Heartland Queens, Ekiti Queens, Naija Ratels, Ibom Angels, and Castmong Ladies.
Group B includes Nasarawa Amazons, Confluence Queens, Delta Queens, Sunshine Queens, Ahudiyannem Queens, Dannaz Ladies, Remo Stars Ladies, Osun Babes, Abia Angels, and FC Robo.
