Seember Emmanuel of Confluence Queens has been named the NWFL Premiership Matchday Six Top Performer after topping the fan voting process at the conclusion of an action-packed round of fixtures.
The Nigeria Women Football League confirmed that voting closed following matches played across nine centres, with Emmanuel emerging winner after polling 1,226 votes, the highest tally among the nominees.
Emmanuel delivered a decisive performance in Confluence Queens’ 3–0 away victory over Dannaz Ladies, scoring twice in the 65th and 90th minutes. Her brace capped a dominant all-round display that clearly resonated with fans across the league.
Ekiti Queens forward Zainab Ismail finished second in the voting with 1,170 votes, narrowly missing out on the top spot. FC Robo Queens’ Oluwakemi Adegbuyi placed third with 504 votes, while Charity Isaiah of Delta Queens and Atume Doosuur of Edo Queens completed the shortlist.
The NWFL congratulated Emmanuel on her achievement and praised all nominees for their strong performances during Matchday Six. The league also expressed appreciation to fans for their continued participation, noting that supporter engagement remains vital to the growth and visibility of the NWFL Premiership.
