NNL Reschedules Matches to Honour Sallah Festivities

The Nigeria National League (NNL) has announced a change to its match schedule to accommodate the Sallah Festival. Matches originally set for the weekend of 20–21 March 2026 have been moved to Wednesday, 25 March 2026.

The adjustment affects Match Day 13 in Conferences C and D, and Match Day 15 in Conferences A and B. NNL Chief Operating Officer, Mr Danlami Alanana, confirmed the decision on Saturday, explaining that it allows teams sufficient time to celebrate Sallah following the fasting period of the holy month.

Mr Alanana extended Eid-El-Fitr greetings to the Muslim faithful, wishing them a joyful celebration.

With the revised schedule, Conferences A and B have four match days remaining to conclude the season, while Conferences C and D have two match days left in the 2025–2026 NNL campaign.
