Grassrunners FC have been crowned champions of the 14th Ogunjobi Gold Cup after a commanding 3-0 victory over Abakaliki FC in the final.
Hamzat Sheriff’s own goal gave Grassrunners the lead two minutes into the second half.
Temileyin Adelabu doubled their advantage in the 70th minute before Lasisi Musa completed the scoring with a stunning strike in the 87th minute.
The victory sees Grassrunners FC lift the Ogunjobi Gold Cup and claim the first official title in the club’s history.
