NPFL Shakes Up Matchday 6: Key Fixture Changes You Need to Know!



The Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) has announced adjustments to the Matchday six schedule, affecting several fixtures. Notably, the highly anticipated match between Shooting Stars and Enyimba FC at the Lekan Salami Stadium will now kick off at 4:00 pm on Sunday, instead of the originally scheduled 5:30 pm. This time change aims to accommodate various logistical considerations and ensure smooth operations on matchday.

In addition to this, the NPFL has rescheduled Shooting Stars' Matchday seven fixture. Originally set for Wednesday, October 16, the match against Rivers United in Port Harcourt will now take place on Thursday, October 17. This midweek clash is expected to be a thrilling encounter, with both teams seeking to secure crucial points as the season progresses.

Several other fixtures have also been rearranged. Matches involving Sunshine Stars versus Rangers International, Abia Warriors against Kwara United, and Ikorodu City FC against Bendel Insurance will all be played on Saturday.
