NPFL Postpones Kano Pillars, Enyimba Clash

The Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) has announced the postponement of the highly anticipated matchday 14 encounter between Kano Pillars and Enyimba International. Originally scheduled for Sunday, December 1, 2024, the match has been deferred to an unconfirmed date due to Enyimba’s participation in the CAF Confederation Cup group stage.

In a statement, the NPFL reassured fans of both clubs that a new date for the "Zobia Clasico" will be announced soon. The league organizers emphasized their commitment to ensuring the game is rescheduled at a suitable time, considering the importance of the fixture to both teams and their supporters.

Meanwhile, the league has made adjustments to Kano Pillars’ matchday 13 fixture against Lobi Stars. Initially scheduled for a later date, the game has been rescheduled to Saturday, November 23, 2024, at the Lafia City Stadium. This decision reflects broader efforts to align the league calendar with ongoing engagements in other competitions.

These changes underline the NPFL's flexibility in accommodating the demands of continental tournaments while maintaining the domestic league’s integrity. Fans are now eager to see how these schedule adjustments will impact Kano Pillars and Enyimba as they navigate through a congested football calendar.
