NNL Fines Sporting Supreme FC, Kada Warriors FC for Misconduct

The Nigeria National League (NNL) has sanctioned two clubs, Sporting Supreme FC and Kada Warriors FC, for misconduct during their Match Day Four encounter. The penalties follow incidents of unruly behavior and poor game management.

Kada Warriors FC was fined N200,000 after their fans threw sachet water onto the pitch in protest. Additionally, the club's ball boys were accused of hiding six match balls to delay play, a move condemned by the league.

Sporting Supreme FC faced a stiffer penalty of N500,000 for inadequate security arrangements, which contributed to the chaos. The NNL issued a stern warning against hiding match balls, threatening harsher sanctions for future violations.

Both clubs have been given 48 hours to either accept the fines or appeal to the Disciplinary Committee. The league also commended the referee for maintaining professionalism throughout the challenging match.

These fines underline the NNL's commitment to enforcing discipline and fair play across its competitions.
