Defending champions Zamalek SC of Egypt have ended Enyimba International's campaign in the CAF Confederation Cup with a decisive 3-1 victory at the Cairo International Stadium.
The final group stage clash on Sunday was a must-win for Enyimba, but Zamalek capitalized on home advantage to dominate the encounter. Shalabi opened the scoring in the 29th minute, while Jaziri extended the lead just three minutes into the second half.
Enyimba showed resilience with Ifeanyi Ihemekwele's goal in the 57th minute, reducing the deficit to 2-1. However, Jaziri struck again in the 87th minute to secure a brace and seal Zamalek’s victory.
