Bendel Insurance secured a valuable point away from home as they played out a goalless draw against Kano Pillars in their NPFL25 Matchday 31 encounter at the General Sani Abacha Stadium on Wednesday, March 26, 2025.
Winger Bernard Ovoke, who recently joined the Benin Arsenals after terminating his contract with Enyimba FC, made his first start for his new club. The 27-year-old, known for his attacking flair and left-footed play, played a key role in helping Bendel Insurance earn a crucial away point.
Ovoke was lively throughout his time on the pitch, adding creativity and energy to the attack. However, he was substituted in the 80th minute by coach Greg Ikhenoba as Insurance held firm to secure the draw.
