Abia Warriors held a thanksgiving service in Ohafia, Abia State on Sunday, May 18, 2025, to mark a successful Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) campaign.
The club currently sits third on the NPFL table and has secured automatic qualification for next season’s CAF Confederation Cup.
Abia Warriors are just one point behind second-placed Rivers United, who have 61 points. With one match remaining, the race for the second spot is still open.
Rivers United will host Nasarawa United in Port Harcourt on Sunday, while Abia Warriors will take on Ikorodu City at the Johnson Mobolaji Arena in Lagos.
