Barau FC has secured a spot in the 2025 Nigeria National League (NNL) Super 8 Promotional Play-Off after a goalless draw against Mighty Jets at the New Jos Stadium, Zaria Road, Plateau State.
With the result, Barau FC finished second in Northern Conference C, amassing 19 points from 12 matches.
The club continues its impressive rise in Nigerian football, having competed in the Nationwide League One (NLO), advanced to the NNL, and now targeting a place in the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL).
Barau FC will compete in the NNL Super 8, which brings together four top teams from the North and four from the South. The tournament will determine promotion to the NPFL.
The achievement marks another milestone for Barau FC as one of the fastest-growing clubs in the country.
