“This is a testament to his dedication towards advancing football development in Africa,” said Kanu. “We are confident he will replicate the excellence he has brought to Nigerian football on the regional stage.”
Kanu, who is leading Enyimba into a new era of professionalism, emphasized the opportunity for enhanced collaboration between clubs and regional football bodies under Gusau’s leadership.
“On behalf of Enyimba FC, I felicitate with Mr. Gusau on this prestigious role,” Kanu stated. “We look forward to working together in taking football beyond Nigeria’s borders.”
