Remo Stars captain Nduka Junior has attributed the team's historic NPFL title win to his patience and hard work. Junior joined the club in 2018 as a youth player when the team was in the second division.
The team earned promotion to the NPFL in 2019. Junior credited his youth coach, Daniel Ogunmodede, for believing in him and helping him transition to the senior team. He expressed gratitude for the opportunity to lead Remo Stars to their first NPFL title.
"I joined Remo Stars in 2018 as a youth player... The team was in the second division then and got promoted to the NPFL in 2019," Junior recalled.
Reflecting on his time with the youth team, Junior said, "I had so many teammates who have come and gone but I have been very patient... I kept working hard and the moment I got promoted into the senior team, I knew it was all about performance."
Junior attributed his success to his hard work and credited his youth coach, Daniel Ogunmodede. "I will also thank my coach, Daniel Ogunmodede, who was our youth coach for putting me through and believing in me," he said. "Moving from the youth team to the senior team and leading Remo Stars to a first-ever NPFL title is a big win for me," Junior added.
