NFF Appoints Manu Garba and Moses Aduku as Golden Eaglets and Falconets Coaches

The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) has confirmed the appointment of Manu Garba as the Head Coach of the Golden Eaglets (U17 Boys) and Moses Aduku as the Head Coach of the Falconets (U20 Girls).

According to the NFF Communications Department, the appointments were approved by the Executive Committee following recommendations from the Federation’s Technical and Development Sub-Committee.

Garba, a seasoned tactician, previously guided the Golden Eaglets to Nigeria’s fourth FIFA U17 World Cup title in the United Arab Emirates in 2013. He also led the team to qualify for the 2019 FIFA U17 World Cup finals in Brazil. His return to the role comes as Nigeria prepares for the WAFU B U17 Boys Tournament, which the country will host in September.

For the Falconets, Aduku succeeds Chris Danjuma. Known for his remarkable work with Bayelsa Queens and Edo Queens, Aduku is a respected figure in women’s football. He served as assistant coach of the Falconets when they reached the quarter-finals of the FIFA U20 Women’s World Cup in Costa Rica in 2022. His immediate focus will be on preparing the U20 girls for their 2026 FIFA U20 Women’s World Cup qualifying clash against Rwanda in September.

Both Garba and Aduku are scheduled to officially resume their duties on Sunday as preparations for these key fixtures intensify.
