Bendel Insurance FC have completed the signing of Nigerian forward Israel Emmanuel from Cameroonian outfit Victoria FC, the club confirmed on Wednesday.
The deal sees Emmanuel sign a two-year contract with the Benin Arsenal, including an option for an additional year. All documents have been signed, with the transfer officially announced by the club.
Emmanuel, who previously featured for Akwa United in the Nigeria Premier Football League, is returning to familiar territory as he looks to revive his career in Nigeria. The striker was part of the Akwa United squad during the 2021 season and is known for his pace and direct attacking style.
The move marks another strategic addition for Bendel Insurance as they continue preparations for the new NPFL campaign. Emmanuel is now back in the country and is expected to join his new teammates in training ahead of the upcoming season.
