Barau Football Club will officially present its latest signings from the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL), Nigerian National League (NNL) and international clubs on Friday, 8 August 2025, at the Sharada United Field, Mahaha Sports Complex, Kofar Naisa.
According to the club’s Media Officer, Ahmad Hamisu Gwale, the event is part of a new policy aimed at transforming the club’s sporting structure.
Club Chairman, Ambassador Ibrahim Shitu Chanji, confirmed that the presentation will take place before a special friendly match between Barau FC and Kano Ambassador FC. The match has been organised to celebrate the recent promotions of both Kano-based teams, with Barau FC advancing to the NPFL and Kano Ambassador FC securing a place in the NNL.
Barau FC has secured deals with top talents from the NPFL, NNL and players with experience in the CAF Champions League. Ambassador Chanji expressed confidence that the unveiling would set a new benchmark for football presentations in Kano and Nigeria.
The unveiling comes as the club intensifies preparations for the 2025/2026 NPFL season, which kicks off at the end of August. Barau FC will face Enyimba FC in their opening fixture.
