Nigerian midfielder Mubarak Suleiman has joined the B-team of Czech club SK Slavia following a move from the Right2Win Academy.
The 18-year-old impressed during spring trials and has already featured for Slavia’s U20 side, coming on in the 62nd minute of a draw against Plzeň B.
“We monitored Mubarak through our partner academy Right2Win in Nigeria. Based on scouts’ recommendations and cooperation within the African project, he completed spring tests and also trained with the A-team. He is a dynamic box-to-box central midfielder whose work in key areas of the pitch has impressed us. We wish him success and believe he can further develop his potential at Slavia,” said the club’s sports director, Jiřà BÃlek.
Suleiman will begin his career at Slavia with the B-team, where the club hopes he can continue his development.
