Kano-based club Bichi First FC has appointed renowned journalist Muzammil Dalha Yola as its new Media Officer.
The club confirmed the appointment in an official announcement this week, according to the Independent Mirror.
Yola, who also serves as Assistant Secretary of the Sports Writers Association of Nigeria (SWAN), Kano State Chapter, will head the club’s media department to boost its communications and publicity. He is currently head of the sports unit at Aminchi Radio Kano and previously worked as the NLO Northwest Media Officer.
The appointment underlines Yola’s commitment to supporting the growth and success of the club ahead of the new season.
Recently, Bichi First FC named Abubakar Musa as its new Technical Adviser in preparation for the Nigerian National League (NNL) campaign.
Club President, Hon. Dr. Engr. Abubakar Kabir Abubakar Bichi, expressed delight at Musa’s unveiling, praising his profile, expertise and experience as both a footballer and coach. He stressed that the club’s mission is to empower youths within his federal constituency and across Kano State through football.
The President also revealed plans for an 18,000-capacity ultra-modern stadium in Bichi, a project he described as a future source of pride for Kano State and Northern Nigeria.
