Nigeria National League (NNL) side Dakkada FC have officially unveiled Emmanuel King as their new head coach.
The announcement was made on Wednesday in Uyo, where King was presented to the club’s supporters, signalling the start of a new chapter for the Akwa Ibom-based side.
King, a young and ambitious tactician who previously managed FC One Rocket in the NNL, expressed confidence in his ability to revive Dakkada’s competitive edge and club identity.
“I’m here to help Dakkada FC rediscover its identity and compete with belief. The goal is to build a winning mentality from day one,” he said during the unveiling ceremony.
He will be assisted by Godwin Effiong, who joins the team as assistant coach as part of the club’s revamped technical crew.
Dakkada FC are set to begin their 2025–26 NNL campaign this weekend with a home fixture against First Bank FC at the Uyo Township Stadium.
