Ikorodu City Boss Bright Ozebagbe Reflects on Win and Targets Improvement

Ikorodu City technical adviser Bright Ozebagbe says his side is still a team in transition despite their 2–1 victory over Plateau United on Sunday in Onikan.

Speaking after the match, Ozebagbe said he was pleased with the three points but admitted that his team must improve their goalscoring efficiency. He noted that the chances created should have produced more goals.

The coach also expressed disappointment at losing the clean sheet late in the game after Wisdom Ndon pulled one back for Plateau United in the 72nd minute. According to him, the defensive lapse is something the team will correct in training.

Looking ahead, Ozebagbe turned his attention to their next challenge against Kano Pillars, stating that the match will be another important test for his evolving squad.

Ikorodu City earned the win through goals from Joseph Arumala in the 47th minute and Alade Balogun in the 53rd minute.
