Cameroon midfielder Edimo Kingue Franck Alanne has revealed that Remo Stars’ long-term project, modern infrastructure and passionate fan base were decisive factors in his move to the Nigeria Premier Football League champions.
Kingue completed a free transfer to the Ikenne-based side ahead of the second half of the NPFL season, linking up with the Sky Blue Stars as they continue their title defence.
Speaking to the club’s media team, the midfielder said the overall vision of the club convinced him to make the switch.
“The project and the infrastructure, joined with the fans’ support, was the reason I joined Remo Stars,” Kingue told Remo Stars media.
The 25-year-old arrives with experience from the Egyptian league, having previously featured for Al Ittihad Alexandria, and is expected to add depth and steel to Remo Stars’ midfield options.
Kingue could make his competitive debut on Monday when Remo Stars host Kun Khalifat FC in their Nigeria Premier Football League matchday 22 fixture in Ikenne.
