Port Harcourt will host the decisive final day of the 2025/26 Nigeria Women Football League (NWFL) Premiership Super Six on Sunday, with three clubs still in contention for the league title.
Defending champions Edo Queens lead the standings with nine points after four matches, while Bayelsa Queens and Nasarawa Amazons remain in the race on seven points each.
The standout fixture of Matchday 5 will see Edo Queens take on Bayelsa Queens at the Main Bowl of the Adokiye Amiesimaka Stadium. The result could determine the destination of the league title.
At the same time, Nasarawa Amazons will face Rivers Angels on the Mini Pitch, hoping to secure victory and benefit from any slip-up in the title contest.
Earlier in the day, Abia Angels will meet FC Robo Queens as both teams aim to finish their Super Six campaign on a positive note.
The final day will also feature the presentation of medals and the crowning of the 2025/26 NWFL Premiership champions.
Several individual awards will be presented, including Player of the Season, Goalkeeper of the Season, Top Scorer and the Fair Play Award.
With league glory, continental qualification places and individual honours all at stake, Matchday 5 is expected to provide a fitting conclusion to the season.
