In a grand ceremony at the Government House in Port Harcourt, Rivers State Governor, Sim Fubara, presented a cash prize of N30 million to the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) U-17 Youth League Champions, Rivers United on 11th July, 2024 according to Charles Mayuku, Media Officer of Rivers United FC. This gesture recognizes the team's exceptional performance and achievement in the tournament.
