Heartland FC Make 30 New Signings Ahead of NPFL Return



Heartland FC, popularly known as the "Naze Millionaires," have made an impressive 30 new signings as they prepare for their return to the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) for the 2024/25 season. After a challenging period away from the top flight, the Owerri-based club is gearing up for a comeback with a squad overhaul that brings together a mix of promising young talents and experienced players. This extensive recruitment drive reflects Heartland FC's determination to compete at the highest level once again and to re-establish themselves as one of the most formidable teams in Nigerian football.

The list of new arrivals features a variety of players from different clubs and academies across the country. From Bayelsa United, the team has added Elvis Ori and Kelvin Ogunga, both of whom are expected to bring defensive solidity and tactical awareness. Udochukwu Anumudu joins from Abia Warriors, and Louis Umoh Anthony has been promoted from Heartland Feeders, highlighting the club’s commitment to integrating homegrown talents. Meanwhile, Alex Godwin arrives from Niger Tornadoes to strengthen the midfield. Reinforcements from Giant Brillars include Julius Namitanie, Offor Emmanuel Chibueze, Olanrewaju Molade, Chukwudi Agor, and Nnaemeka Christian Nkwo, each bringing unique skills that will add depth to the squad. Other notable additions are Adoh Chuks Frank from De First Atlanta FA and Ebuka Nwokoecha from Diamond FA, both of whom are expected to make significant impacts.

The team has also welcomed Ikwu Ejike from Rangers International FC, and Osinachi Wilson from Eagle Eye, both experienced players who can bring leadership to the dressing room. Young talents such as Ezra David from Superstars FA, Uchenna David from Foster FA, and Bobo Chubuike from Dynamic Shuttle have also been signed, underscoring Heartland's focus on youth development. In addition, Onuwa Temple Chigozirim from ER7, Chikamso Obasi from De Gideons FA, and Nkemakolam Chigozie Godwin from Umuakuma FA join the ranks, further strengthening the midfield options. Chukwuma Chinedu from Taiye Academy, Kelvin Onah from Legacy Stars, and Samuel Wisdom from Giant Brillars add further versatility to the squad. 

Adding even more experience are players like Emmanuel Charles and Joshua Odo from Rangers International FC, along with Suraju Lawal from Giant Brillars. The club has also tapped into the potential of players from Brighter Tomorrow FC, including Chukwuma Agoha, Obinna Okere, Benjamin Victor, and Chukwuma Agor, who are expected to add dynamism and energy to the team.
