Algerian Women’s Team Trains in Nigeria Ahead of Clash with Super Falcons

The Algeria Women's National Team arrived at Lagos’ Mobolaji Johnson Arena on Thursday, kicking off their preparations for the upcoming double-header friendly matches against Nigeria's Super Falcons. The team arrived at the stadium shortly after the Super Falcons completed their own training session.

Led by head coach Farid Benstiti, the Algerian team held a light training session to acclimate to the environment and finalize preparations. This training marked their first on Nigerian soil as they gear up for what is expected to be an intense contest. The team is expected to hold one more session before heading to Ikenne for the first leg of the friendlies.

The first match between the Super Falcons and Algeria will take place on Saturday, October 26, at Remo Stars Stadium in Ikenne, Ogun State. Both teams are eager to showcase their skills in this friendly encounter, which will provide valuable preparation and competitive exposure ahead of upcoming tournaments.
