El-Kanemi Warriors FC will take on Karimo FC, champions of the Borno State League, in a friendly encounter today, Wednesday 16 July 2025 as part of their preparations for the 2026 Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) season.
The Maiduguri-based club, under the leadership of head coach Kabiru Dogo, has recorded a perfect run in pre-season matches, winning all fixtures to date. Their strong performances reflect the team’s growing unity and competitive spirit ahead of the new campaign.
Coach Dogo is focused on building a well-rounded squad capable of contending for top honours when the season begins. The friendly match against Karimo FC is expected to serve as another crucial test, while also contributing to the growth of football within Borno State.
