The board of Egyptian giants Al Masry has announced the commencement of ticket sales for their highly anticipated CAF Confederation Cup group-stage opener against Nigerian champions, Enyimba International. The People's Elephant will visit Egypt on Wednesday for the Group Four clash at the new Suez Stadium.
On Monday morning, Al Masry’s management shared details of the ticket release, highlighting preparations for the match and providing guidelines for fans attending the crucial encounter. The club emphasized the importance of fan conduct and coordination for a smooth matchday experience.
A statement by the club read, "My ticket company announced the release of tickets for the first team match against the Egyptian club and its counterpart Enyimba of Nigeria, scheduled to be held at six o'clock on Wednesday at the new Suez Stadium as part of the first round of the group stage (Group Four) of the 22nd edition of the African Confederation Cup."
The club also disclosed that 5,000 tickets have been made available for sale in two categories: second-tier seats facing the cabin, priced at £100, and third-tier seats behind the goalkeeper, priced at £75. Additionally, 200 tickets have been allocated for Enyimba fans traveling to support their team.
To ensure safety and organization, the Directorate of Security of Suez has instructed Al Masry supporters to gather in front of the stadium at least two hours before kickoff. This measure is designed to facilitate a secure and orderly entry process, allowing fans to cheer on their team in this significant fixture.
This encounter marks the beginning of the group-stage journey for both clubs in the 22nd edition of the CAF Confederation Cup. With Enyimba eager to make a strong start away from home and Al Masry looking to capitalize on their home advantage, fans can anticipate an electrifying contest.
