NPFL: Nasarawa United Will Bounce Back – Coach Kabiru Dogo

Nasarawa United’s head coach, Kabiru Dogo, has expressed confidence in his team’s ability to recover from their recent setback. The Solid Miners suffered a 2-0 defeat to Plateau United on matchday 13 of the Nigeria Premier Football League, but Dogo remains optimistic about their future.

Reflecting on the match, Dogo insisted that his team deserved more, particularly after a strong first-half performance. "Nasarawa United deserved more from this game, especially after our first-half performance," he said. He also pointed to missed opportunities and a lack of focus as the reasons for the loss. "We failed to take our chances, and our concentration lapsed in the second half, allowing Plateau United to take advantage," Dogo explained.

The defeat leaves Nasarawa United at the bottom of the league table, with just 12 points from 13 matches. Despite the challenging position, Dogo remains confident that the team can turn their season around. "We are still optimistic to turn the tide around for our good," he affirmed.

As the league progresses, Nasarawa United will need to find solutions quickly to climb out of the relegation zone. With the coach’s belief in the team’s potential, fans will hope the Solid Miners can bounce back and deliver improved performances in the coming fixtures.
