The West Africa Football Union B (WAFU B) has officially announced that Ghana will host the 2024 U17 Women's Championship. The tournament, scheduled to take place in Accra, will see the region’s top young talents competing for glory from December 12 to December 26, 2024.
Seven nations, including Nigeria, Niger, Burkina Faso, Benin, Togo, Ivory Coast, and hosts Ghana, will participate in the highly anticipated competition. The Flamingos, Nigeria's U17 team, will be one of the favorites, guided by coach Bankole Olowookere, who previously led the team to the quarterfinals of the FIFA U17 Women's World Cup in the Dominican Republic.
