Enyimba Suffers First NPFL25 Defeat Since October in Loss to Kano Pillars



Enyimba FC's unbeaten run in the NPFL25 came to an end on Thursday as they fell 2-0 to Kano Pillars in a rescheduled Matchday 14 fixture at the Sani Abacha Stadium, Kano.

This marked Enyimba’s first league defeat since October 20, when they lost 1-0 to El-Kanemi Warriors. The loss leaves their record at two wins, seven draws, and one defeat.

Kano Pillars' forward, Abba Adam, was the star of the match, scoring both goals for the Sai Masu Gida. Adam opened the scoring in the 26th minute and secured the victory with another goal in the 72nd minute.



The result saw Pillars claim maximum points, while Enyimba will look to bounce back from this setback as they continue their NPFL25 campaign.
