Enyimba Feeders came from behind to secure a hard-fought 2-1 victory over Right2Win FA in their NLO matchday two clash, thanks to second-half goals from Peter Daniel and Eslin Lawrence.
Right2Win FA had taken an early lead through Cypril, who struck in the 9th minute to send the home fans into celebration. Despite several first-half opportunities for both sides, the visitors trailed at the break.
However, Enyimba Feeders responded with purpose after the restart. Peter Daniel leveled the game in the 67th minute with a well-placed finish before Eslin Lawrence completed the comeback just seven minutes later.
Right2Win FA pushed for an equalizer, but Enyimba’s defense held firm to preserve the lead and clinch a second consecutive win in the campaign.
With this result, the Young Elephants maintain their perfect start to the season and now turn their attention to Sunday’s clash against Abia FA Cup winners Ahudiyannem FC — a match already billed as a potential group decider in Abia football circles.
