Esperance legend and current MC Alger coach Khaled Ben Yahia is confident his side can eliminate Orlando Pirates and advance to the next round of the CAF Champions League.
Speaking ahead of the second leg clash, Ben Yahia acknowledged the strength of the South African giants but expressed belief in his team's chances.
"We won't say the match against Orlando Pirates will be easy," he told Kooora. "Everyone saw the performance they put in against us at home, but we're going to South Africa to defend our chances. Nothing is impossible in football."
MC Alger head into the return leg in South Africa trailing 1-0 from the first leg, which was played in Algiers. The decisive second leg is scheduled to take place on Wednesday, April 9, 2025.
"I thank our loyal fans for coming to the training center and the airport to motivate us. I hope we live up to their expectations and make them happy by qualifying," Ben Yahia added.
MC Alger will need to overturn the deficit in Johannesburg to keep their CAF Champions League dream alive.
