Nigeria National League side Abakaliki FC pulled off a major upset by eliminating Nasarawa United to reach the semi-finals of the 2025 President Federation Cup.
The Rice Boys came from behind to force a penalty shootout and triumphed 5-4 against the Solid Miners.
Abakaliki FC will now face Ikorodu City in the semi-finals, after the Lagos-based side edged Wikki Tourists 1-0 in Abuja.
In Enugu, Kwara United made history by reaching the last four for the first time ever. The Harmony Warriors fought back from a two-goal deficit to draw Akwa United in regulation time and went on to win 5-3 in the shootout.
They will battle Rangers International, who booked their spot with a narrow 1-0 victory over Plateau United.
