The Nationwide League One (NLO) Secretariat has expelled Sky Limit FC of Kano from the ongoing 2025 season following a violent incident during their match against Dromeda FC.
According to the NLO, the entire technical bench and players of Sky Limit FC assaulted match officials, putting them in a near-death situation. The incident was described as a serious breach of conduct and a clear case of hooliganism.
Citing Rule 4.13(6) of the NLO regulations, which mandates expulsion for violent conduct in zonal leagues, the Secretariat confirmed that Sky Limit FC has been removed from the league. All previously earned points by the club have been nullified and their name struck from the league table.
The NLO reaffirmed its zero-tolerance policy for violence and urged clubs to adhere strictly to the rules to ensure the safety and integrity of the competition.
