Rangers International FC midfielder, Chidiebere Nwobodo, has returned to the club with renewed determination, as he outlines a bold vision to help restore the club’s status as one of Nigeria’s football powerhouses.
In an exclusive interview with the club, Nwobodo expressed his strong desire to contribute significantly to the Flying Antelopes' resurgence in the upcoming season. The midfielder, who previously had a spell with Rangers, shared his confidence and passion for success.
“This is home for me. I have returned with a clear mission — to give everything and fight for this badge,” Nwobodo said.
The 21-year-old midfielder joins from Rwandan club APR FC in Kigali. Nwobodo won the NPFL title with Rangers two seasons ago and made 102 NPFL appearances and scored 16 goals before his move abroad.
Meanwhile, the experienced midfielder has signed a two-year contract with coach Fidelis Ilechukwu’s side.
With the new season on the horizon, the midfielder emphasised the importance of unity, hard work, and focus, while calling on fans to rally behind the team as they aim to compete for titles once again.
