Kun Khalifat FC Set to Make NPFL Debut Against Rangers International in Enugu



Kun Khalifat FC will mark their historic debut in the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) with an opening-day clash against Rangers International of Enugu. The 2025/26 season is scheduled to kick off on 22 August, with the new entrants travelling to the Nnamdi Azikiwe Stadium in Enugu for their first-ever top-flight appearance.

In a statement released by the club, the fixture was described as the birth of "a new Oriental derby", signalling a fresh regional rivalry between Kun Khalifat FC and the seven-time NPFL champions, popularly known as the Flying Antelopes.
