Wikki Tourists received a major morale boost on Saturday as members of the club’s Supporters Club made a surprise visit to the team’s training session at the Stephen Keshi Stadium in Asaba.
The visit came on the eve of a crucial Super Eight fixture against Barau FC. Led by Ibrahim Isiaka, the supporters commended the players for their spirited display in the previous match and urged them to maintain the momentum.
“We are proud of your efforts and want you to know that we are solidly behind you,” Isiaka told the squad. “Keep the fire burning and make Bauchi proud.”
Team captain Mohammed Idris Guda expressed gratitude on behalf of the players, saying the visit came at the right time.
“Your encouragement means a lot to us,” Guda said. “We promise to fight hard and give everything in our remaining matches.”
The Tourists will be hoping to build on the growing support as they aim for a strong finish in the ongoing campaign.
