El-Kanemi Warriors U-19 to Compete in NPFL Youth League



El-Kanemi Warriors Football Club's Under-19 team is set to represent Borno State in the forthcoming Nigeria Premier Football League Youth League, which kicks off in Kano on 10 August 2025.

The young squad has been drawn in a tough group featuring Kano Pillars, Katsina United, Nasarawa United, Niger Tornadoes, and Plateau United. According to the club’s media officer, this competition serves as a key platform for the team to showcase their potential and compete with top youth sides from across the country.

In a statement from the club, the Commissioner for Youth and Sports Development, Comrade Saina Buba, along with the El-Kanemi Warriors FC board members, is said to be working around the clock to ensure the team receives full logistical, financial, and moral support.

The club also called on fans and stakeholders to keep the team in their prayers and offer unwavering support as they embark on their campaign in Kano.

"Together, with unity and prayers, we believe the El-Kanemi Warriors U-19 team will make Borno State proud," the club’s media officer, GAGA, stated.

El-Kanemi Warriors FC continues to strengthen both its senior and youth squads as it aims to build a strong football foundation for the future of Borno State.
