3SC Earn ₦6.6m From Ticket Sales in The Derby Game Against Ikorodu City

Shooting Stars Sports Club (3SC) has revealed they generated ₦6,627,500 from ticket sales in their 1-1 draw against Ikorodu City at the Lekan Salami Stadium, Ibadan.

The club sold a total of 8,425 tickets for the derby, broken down as follows:
  • 171 VVIP tickets at ₦5,000 each
  • 1,097 VIP tickets at ₦2,000 each
  • 7,157 Regular tickets at ₦500 each
This marks the second time this season the club has publicly shared revenue figures rather than only announcing attendance like other NPFL clubs, representing a significant step in football administration.

On the pitch, Sodiq Ibrahim put 3SC ahead before Shola Adelani equalised for Ikorodu City. The Oluyole Warriors are still in search of their first win of the season after previous draws against Bayelsa United and Bendel Insurance.

Next up for 3SC is a challenging trip to Port Harcourt to face Rivers United. With five league titles, four FA Cups and continental honours to their name, the Ibadan giants under coach Nurudeen Aweroro are aiming to restore past glory and end a 27-year wait for silverware.
