Abia Warriors FC have bolstered their squad with the signing of striker Chindi Merpring Gukut from Edel FC ahead of their CAF Confederation Cup campaign.
Gukut, who emerged as Edel’s top scorer last season with four goals and three assists in just seven starts, has committed to a two-year contract with the Umuahia-based club.
Renowned for his composure in front of goal and intelligent link-up play, the forward will be aiming to replicate his Nigerian National League form on the continental stage as the Warriors embark on their CAF Confederation Cup journey.
