Performance-driven kit brand Dexie Sportswear has sealed a partnership deal with the Gold Cup, Nigeria’s premier off-season football tournament.
The brand, which is known for delivering custom football kits and premium training gear, offers high-quality, science-backed apparel to clubs and athletes across Africa, South America and Europe.
Tunde Shamsudeen, General Coordinator of the Gold Cup, welcomed the development, describing it as a major boost for the competition.
“We are glad to have Dexie Sportswear on board, as the Gold Cup is undoubtedly one of the most exciting off-season competitions in Nigeria,” Shamsudeen told Gold Cup Media Channel.
“We have full confidence that this union marks only the beginning of a long and deep partnership with Dexie Sportswear. This strengthens their commitment to promoting top-quality kits in Nigeria’s sports and football sector.”
Olukorede Adeyiga, Director of Dexie Sportswear, also expressed pride in the collaboration.
“Dexie Sportswear is a subsidiary of Dex Empire Limited, which operates in Nigeria, South Africa, the United Kingdom, the Republic of Ireland and the United States. We are a global brand committed to delivering high-performance, fully customised kits for clubs that prioritise identity, performance and affordability,” Adeyiga stated.
He further explained that with over 17 years of experience in apparel and operations across five countries, the company is dedicated to enhancing athletic performance, strengthening club identity and fostering deeper fan engagement through elite sportswear and service.
Dexie Sportswear is already established in Nigerian football as the official kit supplier for Ikenne-based Remo Stars FC, current champions of the Nigeria Premier Football League.
The new partnership with the Gold Cup is expected to further cement the brand’s influence in the Nigerian football landscape.
