Majin Mohammed Praises Fans and Team Effort After 4–0 Victory Over Plateau United

Niger Tornadoes head coach Majin Mohammed has praised his players and the fans after their emphatic 4–0 triumph over Plateau United in Minna, describing the result as a product of hard work and lessons learnt.

Speaking after the match, Mohammed said his side approached the game with focus and discipline following their previous setback against Kun Khalifat.

"We learnt from the mistake we made against Kun Khalifat by not underrating Plateau United despite their position on the log," he said. "Like their coach said, they didn’t get it right, but they are a good team that always give us a tough time anytime we play against them."

Mohammed also commended the supporters at the Bako Kontagora Stadium for their passionate backing throughout the encounter.

"I give kudos to the fans at the Bako Kontagora Stadium. I want to appreciate them for the massive turnout and for cheering the team from start to finish," he added.

The coach revealed that Tornadoes placed special emphasis on improving their finishing ahead of the game, a strategy that paid off handsomely with four goals on the day.

"We really worked hard for the win, especially in the area of goal scoring. Even during our final shake-up in the morning before the game, we focused on finishing, because if you want to win a game, you must score," he explained. "You could see the results, but like I always say, we will keep improving."
