Dalhatu Hat-Trick Inspires Tornadoes to 4–0 Rout of Plateau United

Niger Tornadoes delivered a stunning performance in Minna as they thrashed Plateau United 4–0 in their NPFL26 encounter, with Abdulazeez Dalhatu and Abdulrasheed Dabai stealing the show.

The Ikon Allah Boys took control early when Dalhatu opened the scoring in the 13th minute, converting a fine pass from Dabai. Despite Plateau United’s efforts to hold firm, the hosts remained dominant as the first half ended 1–0.

Dalhatu doubled the lead shortly after the restart, once again finishing off Dabai’s clever assist. The duo continued to torment the Plateau defence, and Dalhatu completed his hat-trick midway through the second half after yet another inch-perfect pass from Dabai.

Substitute Terdoo Shimagande capped off the emphatic victory with a brilliant solo goal to make it four, sealing a memorable evening for the Minna side.

The match saw early setbacks for Tornadoes as Sabiu Ibrahim was substituted in the 40th minute due to injury, with Ahmed Family coming on. Defender Sunday Akinmoladun also failed to finish the game after picking up a slight knock.

Niger Tornadoes will next face Kano Pillars, while Plateau United will host Enyimba in their upcoming fixture.
