Barau FC head coach, Ladan Bosso, has expressed optimism about his team’s progress despite their goalless draw against Wikki Tourists FC in a closely contested NPFL Matchday 11 fixture at the Sani Abacha Stadium, Kano.
The encounter, played behind closed doors, saw both sides battle for control, with Barau FC holding firm against a dominant Wikki Tourists side that created several chances throughout the match.
Speaking after the game, Coach Bosso admitted that the result was not what his team had hoped for but remained confident in their ability to meet their season’s objectives.
“It isn’t the result we expected, but we remain optimistic about achieving our target before the end of the league,” Bosso stated.
The experienced tactician commended his players for their resilience and promised to address areas that need improvement ahead of their next fixture.
