Enyimba FC Suspend Coach Eguma as Club Seeks Urgent Revival

Enyimba FC have stepped aside Technical Adviser Stanley Eguma and his assistants, Ndubuisi Nduka and Joseph Boma, following a disappointing run of results in the Nigeria Premier Football League.

The decision was communicated to Eguma in a letter issued after an emergency management meeting on Sunday, shortly after the club suffered a match day 13 defeat to Wikki Tourist at the Enyimba International Stadium in Aba.

According to the club, the suspension takes immediate effect as management begins a thorough review aimed at addressing the team’s poor performance and charting a way forward.

Assistant Coach Lawrence Ukaegbu has been instructed to take charge on an interim basis. He will oversee training sessions and prepare the team for their match day 14 fixture against Katsina United in Jos next Sunday.
