Hammola International Football Club has appointed emerging tactician Ibraheem Mutiulahi Okikiola as its new Head Coach as preparations intensify for the 2025/2026 Nationwide League One season.
The young coach, a graduate of the Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta, holds an Advanced Coaching Certificate from the National Institute for Sports. He arrives with a reputation for modern football ideas, tactical clarity and strong leadership.
Okikiola has built a solid résumé within Nigeria’s grassroots and league structures. His previous roles include spells as Head Coach of Shabab FC in Iwo, IMO Tiki-Taka FC, Iwo United FC, Timi Giants FC in Ede and Pegba 1 Sporting FC. He also managed Parrot FC in the Osun Smart League, served as Assistant Coach at Iwo United during the 2024 season and most recently worked with Ejigbo City FC in NLO Division One.
Widely regarded as one of Osun State’s brightest young managers, Okikiola is praised for his analytical approach, psychological maturity, discipline and integrity. His appointment follows a competitive recruitment process during which he attracted interest from other NLO clubs including Yewa FC and Adebola Olowu Johnson FC.
Speaking after his unveiling, the new coach expressed gratitude and enthusiasm for the challenge ahead. He thanked the club’s president, Odeyemi Muhydeen Oladele, and pledged to work tirelessly to deliver positive results.
Hammola FC, popularly known as The Lee Bombers, is positioning itself as a rising force in the NLO. The club believes Okikiola’s leadership will strengthen its pursuit of excellence in the upcoming campaign.
